The research focus of the chair is on the analysis of relevant health economic questions by using methods of the experimantal economic research. This is of particular relevance for the research group "Preferences and Behaviour of Providers and Consumers in Health Care Markets" of CINCH supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. In laboratory experiments the preferences and the behavior of those involved in the health care system will be analysed.
